Jacob Alexander came to me with an idea of starting a creative production team. After many calls and research we figured out how we want to go about this. I came up with the exact purposes of this team/brand, figured out the target audiences, goals, and public image.
It took a couple ideas, sketches, and attempts to come up with the current logo mark and type. It is in the shape of the letter "U", it is more squarish in shape, with a fair amount of negative space. The negative space works well not only to seem more open, but to put icons or logo marks of future partnering brands seamlessly inside. The initial idea of using orange and teal came from it's wide use in color grading film and the color psychologies matched with the team's image.
